چکیده
Kraft lignin was treated with subcritical water at moderate temperatures (120–220 °C) in different gas atmospheres, the goal of optimizing its depolymerization under mild conditions. Lignin observed and compared using homogeneous heterogeneous catalysts both nitrogen carbon dioxide atmospheres. The most important treatment parameters for maximum highest yields phenolic other aromatic monomers were optimized. influence process temperature, pressure, time atmospheres defined optimized liberation into aqueous phase. total phenols aromatics atmosphere 150 °C, whereas required higher (200 a comparable efficiency. effects phenol addition as capping agent Phenol caused remarkable increase content phase; however, it did not significantly affect contents aromatics. antioxidant properties hydrolysates obtained compared, correlated contents, discussed, showing promising potential

Experiences of Kraft Lignin Functionalization by Enzymatic and Chemical Oxidation
Linear hydrophilic derivatives are expected to soften lignin and improve its utilization in composite applications. Oxidation by means of laccase in the presence of oxygen was employed in an attempt to functionalize commercial kraft lignin by vanillic acid-PEG ester and ether derivatives. Thielavia arenaria and Melanocarpus albomyces laccases at pH 6 and 8 were used. According to O2 consumption...
متن کاملLignin Separation from Kraft Black Liquors by Tangential Ultrafiltration
I n chemical pulping a large part of the wood is dissolved during digestion. The dry matter content of the generated black liquor is typically 12 to 18 wt% [1, 2]. In the case of kraft black liquors four main groups of organic constituents are present, 30-45 wt% ligneous material, 25-35 wt% saccharinic acids, about 10 wt% formic and acetic acid, and 3-5 wt% extractives. It also contains about 1...
متن کاملIn vitro cytotoxic activity of ginseng leaf/stem extracts obtained by subcritical water extraction
Ginseng leaf/stem extract produced by subcritical water extraction at high temperature (190°C) possess higher cytotoxic activity against human cancer cell lines than ethanol extract. Subcritical water extraction can be a great candidate for extraction of functional substance from ginseng leaves/stems.
متن کاملFast Vortex Core Switching at Moderate Temperatures
Ferromagnetic vortex core switching is investigated using micromagnetic simulations. For that the OOMMF program is used together with a temperature extension we have developed recently. This is a continuum micromagnetic approach, where the well-known Landau Lifshitz Gilbert equation (valid for zero temperature) is replaced by the Landau Lifshitz Bloch equation. In our research we simulate switc...
متن کاملStatic potentials for quarkonia at finite temperatures
We review non-perturbative static potentials commonly used in potential models for quarkonia at finite T . Potentials derived from Polyakov loop correlators are shown to be inappropriate for this purpose. The qq̄ free energy is physical but has the wrong spatial decay and perturbative limit. The so-called singlet free energy is gauge dependent and unphysical. An appropriate static real time pote...
